NOTE

The first greatest hits album by Ringo Starr.

The album sleeve was designed by Roy Kohara, with the photography by Emerson/Loew with the photo special effects by Daniel Catherine. The inner sleeve includes the song lyrics on one side with sets of contact prints of Ringo on the other from a couple of rolls of film.

In the dead wax of side 1, together with matrix number, one can see "BLAIR'S" initials has been scratched. They belong to cutting engineer Chris Blair — British lacquer-cutting and mastering engineer.

In 1981 this compilation album was re-released on EMI's budget label MFP (Music For Pleasure) with catalog number MFP 50524 an alternate cover. Learn more see here.

Дизайн обложки альбома-сборника был разработан Роем Кохара (Roy Kohara) на основе фотографий Эмерсон/Лоев (Emerson/Loew), спецэффекты Дэниел Кэтрин (Daniel Catherine). Внутренний пакет включает, с одной стороны, тексты песен, и наборы контактных отпечатков Ринго, с рулонов фотоплёнки, с другой.

На збігу доріжок першої сторони разом із матричним номером можна помітити вигравірувані ініціали "BLAIR'S". Вони належать інженеру Крісу Блеру (Chris Blair) — британському інженеру нарізки лакерів і мастерингу.

У 1981 році цю збірку було перевидано компанією EMI на її бюджетному лейблі MFP (Music For Pleasure) під каталожним номером MFP 50524 з альтернативним конвертом. Детальніше див. тут.
