NOTE

This record was made in 1986 in Holland by order of Intershop - a chain of stores selling imported goods for foreign currency in the GDR (something like the soviet 'Beryozka' of that time).

Such editions for sale in specialized stores of the GDR can be easily identified by the logo of the society for musical performing and mechanical reproduction rights. Instead of the abbreviation GEMA, AWA was put on the records.

The record also has an individual number, different from the original European edition - F 669.743, and there is no barcode on the sleeve. Also, there is no artistic inner, the record is inserted into a standard paper sleeve.

There was an incident with the composition Press. Initially, Paul McCartney decided that the album would include a mix made by Hugh Padgham (4:20 playing time). Matrices were prepared at the Masterdisk Studios in New York. However, before the release of the album, Paul changed his mind and swapped it with another mix; one made by Bert Bevans and Steve Forward (playing time 4:40). However, the labels were prepared in advance. Therefore, the running time of the composition on them is incorrect.

Ця платівка була виготовлена в 1986 році у Голландії на замовлення торгівельної мережі магазинів Інтершоп, яка продавала імпортні товари на території НДР за іноземну валюту (подібно як і совєтська "Берізка" того ж часу).

Подібні видання для продажу у спеціалізованих магазинах НДР легко можна визначити за логотипом товариства з управління правами на публічне виконання та механічне відтворення музики. Замість абревіатури GEMA на платівки ставилося AWA.

Також платівка має індивідуальний номер, який відрізняється від оригінального європейського видання – F 669.743, а на конверті відсутній штрих-код. Також, відсутній художній внутрішній конверт, платівка вкладена у стандартний паперовий.

З композицією Press стався казус. Спочатку Пол Маккартні вирішив, що альбом включатиме мікс, зроблений Х'ю Педхемом (час звучання 4:20). Матриці були підготовлені в студії Masterdisk у Нью-Йорку. Однак перед випуском альбому Пол передумав і замінив його іншим міксом, зробленим Бертом Бевансом та Стівом Форвардом (час звучання 4:40). Проте, етикетки було заготовлено заздалегідь. Тому час звучання композиції на них вказано невірно.
